inspired by the japanese hakama

Japanese Hakama are a type of traditional Japanese clothing dating back to the beginning of the sixth century. Originally, worn only by men, Japanese Hakama are tied at the waist and fall approximately to the ankles. Today all genders are wearing the Hakama and they are mostly known as part of the uniform of martial art forms such as Aikido.

Soft silk

Our homage to the Hakama is made from a luscious silk double crepe, generously folded around the waist.

The Hakama features a long, extended waistband, which can be styled in a variety of knots or wrapped around the waist to achieve a cummerbund-like waist.

Voluminous trousers with large knife pleats in front and back leg, pockets on both sides, elongated waistband that wraps around the waist. Wear it with the woven Leo top or Ferdinand silk shirt
