THE DAISUKE

Texture change

Creating half of the top using the reverse side of the silk satin and half using the right, shiny side of the satin creates an understated but interesting detail. I love how the change in texture highlights the construction and beautifully enhances the colour of the fabric.

TRADITIONAL DRAPING TECHNIQUES

The Daisuke top is a design which pays homage to traditional draping techniques. The top features a draped twist in the centre of the garment which is created by marring traditional draping techniques with drafting patterns on paper.
The garment ends with a structured and clean back and a softly draped front.

Reversible

The Daisuke can be worn as a V-neck with the twist at the front, or as a crew neck, allowing the draped side to beautifully show off the back.
